Its had been a long time since i last blogged. Surprised that i actually blogged? My tag board is updating faster than my blog itself. how amazing! normally those blogs which are being updated daily have frequent visitors but mine is a "stagnant" blog (except for the tag board) yet still so being welcome. okok, i don't be so cocky here. Also thanks for visiting my stagnant blog.

Now having my holidays. But this holiday period is pretty short. Its only 1 and a half month long. How short it is as compared to my last holiday which is 7 months long but i wasted that period of time doing unproductive work. This holiday i found a part time job which i would be working every weekends being a promoter for mens' leather shoes. So far i went to work for 2 days already. Earning around hundred plus dollars in this 2 days. Quite tiring while standing there, however i rather enjoy and feel excited whenever a customer come and try the shoes. Sold around 20 shoes already for the 2 days.

This holiday, there are not a lot of programs for me. Except for a leadership camp at labrador adventure centre, there are no camp for me anymore this holiday. But cannot get to take a break during this holidays as i have to plan for next year's training and work plan for the unit and also my squad. Many changes have taken place because of the 5 days school week and also the change of NPCC commandant. The new NPCC commandant is making many changes to the previous way of training of cadets. Cannot blame because the new commandant is single and full of energy to make an impact to improve for the better in NPCC unlike the previous commandants who are mostly retirees.

Have you seriously imagine how will your life will be like in the future? This will trigger your mind to think of your ambition. But can you reach your ambition and be what you want? Thinking on what i want to be in the future but can't imagine myself earning my first million dollars. Life is hard. We have to suffer before we even get to hell. In this fast-paced world, things are changing within seconds and expecting us to adapt to it without any aid from anyone, anywhere. I only can think of myself working under one block-face looking boss who pays you like what a begger can get and work you like an oxen. I want to work hard and give a bit but i can't make myself feel useful. Year 2005 is coming, what have i done for year 2004? Reading my post right, think also. Write down what you have done for year 2004, what have you achieve, what have you lost, all the good things, all the untellable bad things you have done. Is this year productive? If not, you have wasted a year.like me.So sad, go kill yourself ba or if you want to die famously, try to get kidnapped by someone and being dumped at bukit timah hill.

However everything is not lost. If you have wasted a year like me, don't take it to heart. Life goes on.Theres still a long life ahead.So everyone work hard or you will regret in the end when you think of what you have achieve when you have nothing.We are still young and have the energy to recover from our mistakes.It just when we will wake up and start pulling up our socks. When we grow old, we no longer have the energy to do that. A mistake is a like a deadend route and no time to recover from it anymore. Don't waste your life people.Make full use of it and be useful to others and yourself.Don't let yourself down in the end.At least make yourself proud to say that you have achieve many things.Even more than Lee kuan yew who is also a human like us! Don't be wasteful and waste yourself and resources around especially time. Time can't even be bought by money as everyone knows. So now, everyone just off your PC power switch and start cracking for a brand new and better life ahead. If that doesn't work, just get a hammer and smash your PC. You will feel more energise and enlightened after doing that. Take care dudes and dudettes. Be back to blog more rubbish, hopefully, soon.

what a boring day...

was struck at home practically the whole of today. couldn't think of any place to go out to. was sitting in front of my desk and com for around 10 hours! however did not really wasted my time by doing a bit of studying and some practising of maths papers. maybe this can be for some maths freaks like me, hahaz:

As such...

Today..was pretty pissed off by an idiot which i shall not named for some reasons.

To tat fool which unfortunately exist in this world:
"please don't come and speak a word to me about all ur crapping skills and abilities. i don't need to know how good or lousy are you and i don't give a fucking damn shit to what you do as long as they don't concern me!
You have no blardy rights to insult and self-claimed you are better when you don't even have any evidences of better capabilities than a handicapped man in the streets begging for money.
Alright, i know and understand that you have a girlfriend whom you claim the two of you love one another very much while you laugh and curse other couples(who really noes wat is true love) walking down the street. Although to you=keyword, she is more important than anyone of us but please... for goodness sake, don't treat us like shit and take us for granted! We are not there as your dogs!
If you still think we should be treated this way, i'm sorry but for heaven's sake can you just drown yourself in the river or something? or would you consider going to the nearest temple, shave off all you hair and start praying there. If that doesn't work, try sitting under a durian tree to enlighten yourself and wake up your blardy idea.
Trying to act tough and handsome but still ends up looking like some retarded african cows. Your type of people are the most insensible, dumbest, most pathetic little pieces of bird shits which came from your hairy ass and inconsiderately dropped, being there left to dry.
Always act like a clown but calls yourself a gentlemen. What a disgrace to all gentlemen of this world. Hey hey, long time never blog. Blog becoming stagnant and stagnantier le. Lolz. The past week, i had been preparing for my MST 1. And finally all exams are over. But back to school and lessons. So boring~ Hopefully for all my modules, i am able to score distinctions.

Was slacking the whole day of today. Went t0 play soccer at basketball court this morning. Quite enjoy ourselves as there are also other opponents there. And also we came out with a senior and youth academy team. Hahaz. Senior team consist of Adib, Jun Hong, Alfred and Me, while our youth academy team consist of Wee hong(so call their coach), Andrew(although no longer youth anymore), benedict and our left legger ming jie! Hahaz. Looks like AUFC got a bit of hope le. Benedict has been improving a lot ever since he first played with us. Somemore play like Zidane. Hahaz. On the other hand, Alfred play like agua. Hahaz. Alfred have to be demoted to youth academy while Benedict promote to Senior team. Good to have so many people playing this morning. For the love of the game~ Soccer is finally back in our minds. Hahaz. But still miss the days when we always go to basketball court play soccer everyday after school.

Quite many things happen during my exam week. NPCC council chairman visit was being postponed due to the blardy 5 day school week. Don't really like this 5 day school week thingy. Don't have the sort of feeling to go for NPCC parade anymore. Saturday is better. Maybe i'm used to it but having on weekdays have indeed cause inconvenience, at least to me. We draw number 1 last wednesday not because for the parade but for photo-taking!!How lame and stupid idea. It seems like we are so desperate for our own glory that we have to lie and cheat NPCC HQ for number 1 uniform. I may get to wear it too, but i will not wear with pride. Hope that the NPCC Council Chairman will still be coming even though i have a bad feeling that he will not be free for us.

I really hope that things will turn for the better for the unit. Things have not be running well and smoothly. There are many politics etc. Things are getting a bit out of hand. I gonna do something le. Gonna be back to my bastard ways and wake up everyone's ideas. PLS PPL, WAKE UP YOUR BLARDY IDEA! HELP ME WAKE MINE UP TOO! This is part of my character development. I want to learn, and develop myself into what i want to be. I can't be learning this way. We have to learn from one another even though i may be a senior to some of you. People lets get up on our feets again and drive our unit towards more success and a peaceful one.

it has been a while since i last blog.. lolz.. just posting on my soccer stuffs, but i cant finish them but anyway i dun think i'm gonna to finish them too.. hahaz.. this few days had been quite hectic and packed.. The NPCC Council chairman is visiting my unit (canberra sec sch) and we have to do up something to really impress the chairman. have been planning and thinking abt it for quite long. but so far so good. receive good response such as number 1 uniform has been granted to us, house flag design everything all confirmed. lolz. will be very proud to see all my cadets in their number 1 uniform. it is the first time we ever put on number 1 uniform. Impressive~!!

this few days also had been rehearsing on the parade procedures etc. was quite a rush as the chairman will be visiting on the 24 sept (80% confirm date). so far cadets has been doing quite well. picking up their rifles drills fast and learning to perfect their drills. keep up the good work GOH!

haiz. another headache for me. next week is my exams. haven really start studying and revising. am afraid i'm gonna fail all my modules. there are quite alot of things to learn up and cover. really nid to concentrate on studies very soon. am spending too much time on other things. okie. me getting excited and scare at the same time..wahaha..will be back to blog..

Preparation for Football
Equipment
Football has become big business and the further you progress the greater the chioce of equipment. Some football boots have fins and wedges that are supposed to make the ball swerve and dip in flight. Boots should be chosen for comfort, not because your favourite player gets a lucrative modelling contract to wear them. It is not unknown for players to wear a different make of boot and decorate them in the logo of their sponsor. If you are not happy in your boots, you will not play well. Buying boots that are yoo large for you can 'grow into them' is usually a mistake, because they cause blisters and affect your 'feel' for the ball. The second key element is grip. If you can afford it, have long studded boots for wet pitches, short studs for hard grounds. However, for most conditions one pair of screwed-ins, with carious-sized studs, is sufficient, plus trainers for artificial pitches. After use, boots should be dried naturally - not on a radiator. They will dry quicker, and keep their shape, if the ends are stuffed with newspaper. Remember to take the paper out after a day or two.

Shinpads are also vital - and are compulsory in many leagues. Buy a pair that combine comfort and strength. They should not be so bulky as to hinder movement, but they should be strong enough to enable you to tackle with confidence. Some provide heel protection as well.

Warming-up, fitness training, warming down
Once you have a football at your feet, it is always tempting to start kicking it about. This is not adviable. Whatever sports activity you are about to undertake, a few minutes spent warming-up pays off. Develop a routine that stretches all parts of the body, especially the areas tat are placed under stress in a game: upper and lower legs (hamstring, groin, calf), stomach (abdominal) and side (intercostal) muscles and neck. Stretch gradually and 'hold' the position for a few seconds. Do not 'bounce' or 'spring' the muscles. This should also be done before fitness training. Most players prefer kicking a ball to running, but fitness is increasingly vital. The fitter you are the greater contribution you can make to a game. You will also make fewer mistakes - many a goal has been conceded near the end of a game because physical tiredness has induced mental tiredness.

It is better to exercise little but often than do a lot in one hit. Tailor your exercise to football - lots of short sprints as well as distance work. Try to use good running shoes and avoid too much running on concrete, especially if you usually play on artificial surfaces. Young players, who are more vulnerable to stress injuries, should not do as much endurance training as older ones; fortunately they have more natural stamina.

Weights should be used in moderation. Heavy muscles affects mobility. Do 'reptitions', lifting small weights many times, rather than lifting as much as possible a few times. It is important to warm down after exercise. This is a shortened version of warming up. Doing so on a regualr basis will gradually increase the flexibilty of your muscles and prevent cramping.

Football is one of the easiest games in the world to play. At its simplest it is just a matter of finding a bit of spare land and a vaguely sperical object. Many a mother could call a pair of scuffed school shoes as witness to the fact that most of us have, at some time, played with taped bundles of newspaper, golf balls, even a tin can.

Football is all about possession of the ball. Without it, you cannot do anything, except run around trying to stop the opppostion using it. With it, everything is possible. The ability to control the ball - trapping it, passing it, shooting with it - is thus the most prized in the game. In a 90-minute match the average player will actually be in possession of the ball for about 3 minutes so he, may as well make most of it.

Passes are the glue that binds a team's play. They can be five yards or fifty, forwards, backwards or sideways. A good pass consists of 2 skills: selection and execution. The first requires judgement of which type of pass to play and where to play it. The second, technique.

Swerving the ball is the a difficult skill but an impressive one if mastered, both in look and effect. Many a brilliant goal has been scored with a 'brazilian bender' and many created through a curving pass.
Inswing approach: From the side with the non-kicking foot alongside and behind the ball. Both legs should be slightly bent at the knee, the arm on the non-kicking side out for balance.
Execution: Strike the outside of the ball with the inside of your instep. The follow through should be straight.
Outswing approach: Almost straight, legs slightly bent, arm on non-kicking side as balance. Lean slightly over the ball (but not too much if you want to lift it).
Execution: Strike the inside of the ball with the outside of your foot. The follow-thought should be across the body.

Volleys is a technically diffcult but spectacular skill, requriing balance, concentration, timing and athleticism. Volleying is used for shooting as much as passing beause it can produce great power but variable accuracy.

Shooting is the most crucial art of all footballing skills. Think of football's most enduring moments: Geoff Hurst scoring England's forth while Kenneth Wolstenholme proclaims 'they think it's all over - it is now';Carlos alberto scoring at the end of a stunning Brazilian move in another World Cup final; Paul Gazza scoring against Scotland in Euro 96 - they are all about shooting.

Ball Control. 'Get it under, GET.IT.UNDER. Agh no!' It's a regular enough cry from supporters in the Premiership, let alone Sunday morning coaching sessions. Without ball control you can do very little. 'Touch' is all important, whether it is in preparation for a shot at goal, or bringing down a wayward pass from the opposition.

Trapping the ball. The first action as the ball approaches is to assess were to receive it. Usually it is best to be in the line of flight, but sometimes an advantage can be gained from meeting the ball at an angle., so keeping the body between ball and opponent. THe next decision is to determine which part of the body to control it with. This should take into account that you are going to meet the ball, not wait for it to come to you. If you wait, you lose time and could be dispossessed. For most traps you relax your muscles at the moment you receive the ball, making them 'elastic'. For a few - the 'wedge' traps - you tense them as you do in most shooting and passing actions. Keep the head still. As the ball comes towards you, work out: which position you will take. Which part of the body you will use. What you will do when the ball is under control.

Turning and Dribbling. Both these skills rely heavily on the sort of close control that can be learned only through many hours of practice. At one time every player could dribble like the gods, or so legend has it. The cymbersome boots and heavy ball of olden times suggest it was a specialised ability even then. However, it is true to say that until recently it ws regarded as a dying art.

Dribbling. There is a difference between simply running with the ball and dribbling with it. When running with the ball you are often attacking space and you should aim to touch the ball as few times as possible. The fewer touches you take the quicker you will move, you will also have time between touches to look around and assess your options. You will soon find, however, that the space is closed down, in which case you should seek to attack an opponent. When dribbling you are attacking an opponent at close range and should thus ensure the ball remains within your reach until you are past him. You should also restrain your speed. When you reach him, you will have to be controlled enough to beat him and slow enough to beat him and slow enough to be able to accelerate.

Heading. Kevin Keegan, Robbie Fowler, Nick Barmby - all are well under six foot and all are good headers of the ball. You don't have to be good in the air - it may help, but it is not everything. Trevor Brooking and Glann Hoodle were both six-footers but no one remembers them for their heading ability. Brooking's 1980 FA Cup winner is recalled mainly because it was so rare.

Tackling. When an american gridiron football team loses possession they stop the play, bring off the forwards and bring on the defenders . There used to be association footballes who effectively did much the same, departing the game in spirit, if not in body, whenever possession was lost. Not any more. Now, with a few rare exceptions, everyone defends and everyone, including the goalkeeper, needs to tackle. Tackling is an art, a destructive one but an art none the less. Good tackles can transform defence into attack within seconds. Bad tackles can cost a match. Tackling is mostly about attitude.

Sighs~ it just cant be a habit for me to blog everyday. have the time but lazy to blog. lolz. duno why. then sometimes duno wat to blog. life has been so bored and dead. there seem to be nothing interesting and exciting to look forward to now. everyday is just the same old thing. today is no difference. was so slack today. class ended at 11am then didn't noe where to go so went straight home with one my friend. no soccer no nothing. wth! i wan to play soccer everyday after school just like last time but i cant find friends in my school doing that now. got time is just going to play pool, do some stupid shopping, walk walk see char bo. so damn sianz. thought poly is "so fun".

exams are coming soon. gonna study hard le. still got some topics which i'm still unsure of modules like digital electronics and principle of electrical, electronics engineering.needa practise on all this.ytd was teacher's day celebration in schools. went back to my secondary school. the performance put up by students were just average. teacher's day is meant to be a day of gratitude and appreciation for all the teachers had given us but the atmosphere is like so hype. lolz. maybe they just wan to do it this way. i rmbered last yr teachers in the hall, we put up a performance which our teachers teared. this yr is different.and also jeremy, this basket, sabo me. didn't prepare me for the interview. adib was told tat he will be interview but i wasn't. the moment i see him moving in front of me, i was like wat the f*! omg~not again..! lucky to save embarrassment, i manage to crap my way through."mrs tay. she was my mentor when i'm in sec 4 and she never fails to encourage me and help me in my studies and i did well for my o levels lah." --> this is wad i said. after wad i said, the whole school burst out in laughter.lolz.i duno why anyway but i noe tat she is my fav teacher and the most impt teacher of my life tat time.without her, i wouldn't be studying well now and a CI now. must repay her and not disappoint her.

lastly before i end off, it may be late but i want wish all teachers around the world especially teachers who taught me good or bad before a "happy teacher's day". you guys are great people. you are serving the nation and always be proud and have pride in your job.different ppl has different method of teaching, have lotsa confidence in your teachings. do it for the passion, not the money. want to be one of you in future.

Oh my~ half of my blog disappeared just like that yesterday..argh! but luckily everything came back..phew~ now my tag board is gone.. haiz.. have to go get back my tag board.. Waste my time on all the procedure. why cant the code just be given out instead of us registering for it? Since its free then register for what? Okay, i appreciate it that its free but then won't they just save us the trouble of going through so many procedure to just get the codes for tag board? hahaz.. i'm complaining too much here.. but i will get my tag board up soon and my music too.. keke.. chaos~

Hey hey, am in school right now blogging.wahaha~kaoz. today's lesson was like damn slack.Lessons were ended earlier than usual. Wonder what the hell the lecturers are doing that i even have the time TO BE HERE BLOGGING!!

It is like the 8th week now, 2 months in poly and exams are coming in 2 weeks time. Why can't i feel the exam fever!?! Everyone are studying so hard right now but then something is really wrong as i can't find back the mood to study just like the times when i studied so really hard my o levels.How i wish i can go back to those times.I hate myself.I hate this life of mine!I'm facing so much stress to meet up with expectations of so many people but all these does not included MY STUDIES! Studies should be my priority and yet now i'm neglecting it.WTF!Maybe the 6 months away from studies affected me.Maybe i'm trying to get used to my life right now.But what is exactly the reasons.Sighs~Hope someone like god can come over and direct me to the right path.

Enough of problems.No one likes to hear people moaning and wailing away.LIke people says, tomorrow will be a better day.Things will turn and go your way.Haha~Finally sec2s started learning rifle drills.Had a short session with them on rifles yesterday.So far progress had been rather good.Hopefully 2 weeks later they will master rifle drills.All the best sec2s. Hope that i can be there to help you guys in your drills.We want to impress the NPCC Council Chairman with our drills okay!And also really hope HQ will approve our request for number 1 uniform.Wahaha.If really get it,it will be the first time i am wearing number 1 uniform.Sad and happy.You guys so fortunate.Cadet can wear liao.Me CI then can wear.LoLx.But regardless got number 1 uniform or not, i want all my cadets to do well for the parade and also not forgetting sec 1s in their telematch games day.Come on, we are the defending champion and also at our home ground leh.Lets give our best shot! ON ARH!!We don't live in the glory of others.Want to be known;Achieve championship.I know you guys can do it man! Okay me shall stop blogging.Going to play basketball with friends now.Shall be back to blogged.Chaos~
